Wellspring Texas campers enjoy a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities, all designed to be fun as well as to help campers learn to enjoy activities they’ll be able to continue at home. Team sports, games, and activities are played in the air conditioned gymnasium or throughout the campus on a variety of playing fields, and always in an incredibly supportive environment. Many swimming activities, relay races, and games take place in the pool. The fitness center is a hotspot for personal training, working out, aerobics classes, and dances.

Campers also take frequent trips to the many nearby natural attractions. Tubing and kayaking take place on the Colorado and Guadalupe Rivers. Rock-climbing and hiking the nearby trails are a welcome challenge. The result is the widest variety of teen fitness activities available at any Texas summer camp.

All activities play a major role in significantly improving the physical fitness of campers, and contribute to rapid and dramatic weight loss during camp. Campers learn a new appreciation for an active lifestyle, and we have found this continues when campers return home. The wide range of activities ensures campers have an enjoyable summer just like they would at any camp.
