Wellspring Texas is the first summer fitness and weight loss camp in Texas, and one of the most effective weight loss programs in the world. Boys and girls ages 11-18 enjoy an amazing summer of weight loss, fun, and friendship. Rapid and dramatic weight loss is achieved through a proven and comprehensive program provided by a staff of trained professionals.

Set against the incredible backdrop of the Big Hill Country on the sprawling 200-acre campus of San Marcos Baptist Academy outside of Austin, Wellspring Texas campers have the best of both worlds – use of the terrific facilities on campus, as well as access to the magnificent rivers, parks and trails of the Hill Country.
Attending a four, six, eight or ten-week session is not a summer at fat camp, but rather a direct path to successful weight control, with memories that will last a lifetime.
Wellspring Texas campers are boys and girls with common goals: to lose weight, get in shape, and have fun. Team sports like soccer, football, tennis, and kickball along with swimming, hiking, biking, kayaking, climbing, and aerobics are just some of the exciting weight loss activities that campers enjoy in a supportive environment.
Nutrition and culinary classes, paired with delicious meals and snacks served in the dining hall, guarantee campers will learn to love a range of healthy new foods. Wellspring Texas is not about going on a diet, it’s about learning to change your diet. These elements, combined with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), result in a program proven for rapid and dramatic weight loss at camp, along with lifestyle changes for continued weight loss after campers return home.
